Your Personal Scripture Book

For the word of God is

living and powerful,
and sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing even to the division of soul and spirit,
and of joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart

Hebrews 4:12

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17

In our day to day life, we go through many situations that affects our mood. Some of them makes us pleasant & happy, others grumpy & sad and some others hopeless & terrified.

God has the power to change any situation, no matter how bad or hopeless it is!!

The word of God is alive and powerful!! We need to believe in the Word and start declaring it with our mouth. When we declare it, we ourselves hear it. And as Romans 10:17 says, when we hear the word more & more, our faith-meter rises!!!

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11

The declared word will not return void but will accomplish what it is sent for. So make it a habit to declare the “word” wherever you feel situation is not looking good.

When you declare the word, personalize it. Substitute wherever possible by “I” or “your own name” and believe that God has already done it for you!!!

You can also make a “Scripture book” with “God’s Word / promise” for different areas like – health, wisdom, favor, protection, direction,etc… and keep declaring them over your life. And each time you read your bible, populate your “scripture book” with verses that speaks to your heart!!! It differs from person to person.. So make it as how God leads you..
